Amy believes her role on Planning and Zoning is to represent desire by residents to use their property as they see fit. She believes they should have the right to do so in so far as they do not infringe on the rights of others. She believes in land management for conservation that is tied to responsible business and municipal planning to protect the unique nature of our beautiful Durham.
Amy is a professor for the CT State Community College (formerly Naugatuck Valley Community College) where she has the pleasure of working with young people, helping them to grow and develop into wonderful citizens.
