Bill LaFlamme
Candidate for Zoning Board of Appeals


Bill has been resident of the town of Durham for over 32 years. During that time, Bill has been a longstanding member and secretary of the Durham Conservation Commission. He has also been a longtime member and is currently chairman of the Durham Zoning Board of Appeals for which he seeks reelection.

Bill was born and raised in Bristol. He attended and graduated from Northwestern University before serving as a police officer with the city of Bristol. Bill went on to have a long career with AT&T before retiring in 2017.

Bill and his wife Meredith have one son Jeffrey who went through the RSD 13 school system. In addition to being an active member in Durham's politics, Bill has enjoyed coaching his son Jeffrey's little league and Babe Ruth baseball teams. He is also an active member of the New Haven Sportsman's Club.
