Frank C. DeFelice
Candidate for Planning & Zoning Commission

Frank DeFelice currently serves as the Chair of the Planning & Zoning Commission, and the Chair of the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency. In addition, Frank serves as the Chair of the Lower Connecticut River Valley Council of Government's Regional Planning Commission, which represents 17 Connecticut municipalities; including Durham. Mr. DeFelice is a Certified Land-Use Official, and Certified Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Official, as well as a Justice of the Peace for the town of Durham.

Now retired after a 45 year career, most recently as the Global Energy & Utilities Engineering Manager and Operational Excellence and Process Improvement Engineer for an international manufacturing firm, Frank was responsible for the company's electrical engineering, capital projects, energy-efficiency and operational excellence programs at sites across North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

Frank makes it a point to consider public safety, quality-of-life, and property values when evaluating matters before the commission. He is committed to thoughtful and appropriate development that enhances the scenic and historic beauty of our town. Frank and his wife, Debra, live on Cherry Lane.
