A recently retired State of Ct Insurance Department Regulator and former Administrator at Aetna, Wendy brings a sense of organization, common sense and ethical practices to her work.
Wendy has been the Town Treasurer in Durham since 2001. Among many committees, she has enthusiastically served as the Chairman of the Town of Durham's Tercentennial Celebration, the Durham Fair's 100th Gala Celebration, Town of Durham Recreation Committee Chairman, Executive Member CT Wolves Junior Hockey Team , Vice President Middlesex Youth Hockey, Budget Allocator for the United Way and a Junior Achievement Teacher in Hartford. She is currently an Executive team member and Coordinator of the Durham Fair's Entertainment Department.
Wendy and her husband Glen enjoy the small town feel and community spirit of Durham. Their son Chris (a teacher) and his wife Amanda (an investigator) are raising their 2 children in South Carolina.
